It wasn't Steinberg, it was Scaia and crew.

Anyone know when the injured Virginia players,Grivette,Podpesker,& Buccanero will be back? I see Virginia doing some damage in sections if they can stay healthy and these guys get back on the ice.

Yeah pacman, the refs missed some calls. Both ways. None more obvious than two near the end of the game that would have kept Virginia on the power play for the last few minutes. And Hibbing was crashing the goalie all night.
Save it for the rematch.

Podpeskar was dressed last night. Don't recall seeing him on the ice though. Buccanero is out for the season. Don't know about Grivette. He's been out for a while, so I can't imagine it will be much longer.

Great win over Hibbing.
Do I have to shadow Pavelich again coach?

Who was the ref that has the Hitler mustache. Overall it was a good game to watch, two good teams battling it out. Stupid penalties cost Hibbing the game.

but Virginia has more depth (I don't ever remember saying that in this matchup)
What about in 2005 when Virginia went to State beating Hibbing while running 4 lines, and 5 defensemen......Thats some depth...

Decenzo injury = Hip Pointer

Refs = Hanson, Gager. 2 of the best ever in Section 7. Scaia was on the lines. I thought they let some obvious interference go. Esp Hibbing hitting guys without the puck. Calls missed both ways. Ref "style" was not a factor in the game. All but one call was a penalty.

Disallowed goal = ref blew the whistel before the puck crossed the line

bench penalty = Long overdue...years overdue. Pete is constantly (for years) on the refs, every game from start to finish. Virginia scored the winning goal on the powerplay resulting from Pete's penalty. Hopefully he learned something.

King (#12) had 16 minutes in penalties

Bucanero's cast is off. Rehab. He may be back yet this year

Grivette = 10 - 14 days depending on next Dr. visit

Podpeskar = probably play in the Falls on Friday...maybe 2 harbors tuesday.
