Confirmed on the Twins' site as well. Sounds like one move that addresses lack of confidence in both Lewy & Reyes.

Because they don't officially "recall" him until tomorrow. Funny how you jump right to the Twins site and miss this.

It's that keen sense of awareness that makes us all such big fans of yours, Circle!

LOL!

Besides, Lew could only DH during home games anyway. I don't understand how someone who has been with the organization this long has that much trouble finding the ball in the ceiling. I can understand once in awhile, but he never seems to have a really good beat on it at home.

1st inning:

Baker hit batter, erased by Mauer stealing.

Baker walk, erased by DP.

Fortunate.

Baker continues his Neo impersonation dodging bullets in the second.

Deja vu.

Baker goes a outstanding and much needed 8 shutout innings.

The Twins were able to scratch just the one run off of My-My-My Carmona.

4 1/2 out.

Somebody boof me.

Oh, he replaced the 3B that started the game who has a higher BA than he does. You knew what I meant.

Apparently some poster(s) have never heard of the concept of a "defensive replacement" late in a game that your winning. They/He consider it "pinch hitting" if you enter the game in the field in the eighth inning, and you happen to bat in the ninth.

I have generously removed your ignorance. You may bow.

I know the difference. I'm out of state and was just casually watching the play by play from mlb.com. It was a guess, I guess I owe everyone here an apology for guessing, I am sincerely sorry.

First, you asked for an explanation for something that didn't happen. I thought I showed remarkable restraint. You then replyed with...

Rather than check your facts, you continue with the same question that I told you didn't happen. So I showed further restraint explaining when and why Punto entered the game.

I leave you guys alone and you can't pull out a win?

As much as I concurr with CNT's sentiment, I would of rather had the win.
