Confirmed on the Twins' site as well. Sounds like one move that addresses lack of confidence in both Lewy & Reyes.Neutron 14 wrote:From SI:

Because they don't officially "recall" him until tomorrow. Funny how you jump right to the Twins site and miss this.HShockeywatcher wrote:How come Reyes and Ford are still on the active roster then?

LOL!
Besides, Lew could only DH during home games anyway. I don't understand how someone who has been with the organization this long has that much trouble finding the ball in the ceiling. I can understand once in awhile, but he never seems to have a really good beat on it at home.

Apparently some poster(s) have never heard of the concept of a "defensive replacement" late in a game that your winning. They/He consider it "pinch hitting" if you enter the game in the field in the eighth inning, and you happen to bat in the ninth.HShockeywatcher wrote:Oh, he replaced the 3B that started the game who has a higher BA than he does. You knew what I meant.
I have generously removed your ignorance. You may bow.

First, you asked for an explanation for something that didn't happen. I thought I showed remarkable restraint. You then replyed with...HShockeywatcher wrote:Punto wasn't playing for a reason...can anyone explain to me why he pinch hit?
Rather than check your facts, you continue with the same question that I told you didn't happen. So I showed further restraint explaining when and why Punto entered the game.HShockeywatcher wrote:Oh, he replaced the 3B that started the game who has a higher BA than he does. You knew what I meant.
I'm quite sure you wont get any argument here...HShockeywatcher wrote: I am sincerely sorry.

Really it's ok just to read once in a while
As much as I concurr with CNT's sentiment, I would of rather had the win.
