Predators could be the top 93 team and the Icemen could be the top 94 team.

93's
Predators- Solid team with a few good additions for this summer. ( Dunnick from St Cloud I heard )
Icemen- Again very solid last year, not sure of any changes for this year.
Blades- ?

94's
Icemen- Very good team all around. Added a goalie and D for this summer.
Blades- Good team last year. Not sure how final roster will shake out. Cut some kids midseason last year.
Fire. Very good team last year but I heard they are not skating together for this summer.

Just naming a few Predators, Icemen, Blades, Lightning, Fire, Lake Superior Stars, and the Northern Blades, in no particular order. v

Gophers & Wild

What do you mean by "Open Teams". How do they stack up against the others.

The 93 Wild will stack up well. They beat some good Invitational teams last year.
93 Gophers are a bust.

Open means that you play in tournaments where all you have to do is sign up for the tournament and invitational means you have to be invited to the tournament to play.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... eaWolve at: 3/29/06 8:55 pm

What about Team Midwest in the 94 group. Didnt they play at the PW A level all winter against kids sometimes 2 years older. I would think they might have the upper hand. Not all those summer teams had all of their kids playing at the A level. just a thought.

Not only did they cut kids mid season, a couple of them were coaches kids so they gave the coaches the boot also. Now this season according to the website they have let 4-5 more kids go and replaced them with kids that played for the Fire last summer. They only have a few kids that were on the roster last year at this time left.

It doesnt matter what the 94 Blades do in the off season. They will never beat the 94 Icemen. Never have, Never will.

I have seen the Christian Bros 94 team skate and it looks like they have some quality players. I talked to one of the dads at the rink and he tells me they have teams from 92's down to 96's and a girls U16 team. It will be interesting to see how they fare against established club teams.
