I have seen Moorhead Black play and have followed the scores in district 15 - I don't think Moorhead Black can beat Sauk Centre/Long Prairie!!!!

Does it matter if they beat Alexandria worse then Moorhead did? What if Alexandria had a good game or Moorhead had a poor game? Is Elk River any good? Once they beat someone in the top 5/10 then they might get bragging rights. But for now, they are still not top notch caliber.

Ep didn't play all that well. Missed passes, bad shots, didn't play smart until late in the 3rd... Chaska played pretty well. Both goalies played very well. Both had a couple breakaway stops in OT.

Hockey scout, any more update on the game, then just a score.

Ep came out slow. Edina won the first half of the 1st before Ep dominated the second half of the 1st. It was scoreless after one. A couple minutes into the 2nd edina scored on a pass for behind net. Ep then played strong the rest of the period. Ep scored in the 2nd on a rebound, garbage goal. 1-1 after 2. 3rd period was evenly played. Both teams had their spurts of domination in the 3rd. Couple of good chances for Ep and Edina. In OT it was pretty even, then Ep scored on another rebound/cleanup the scraps goal. Good game.

been following B1 all year and watching scores and games when I can. EP, Wayzata, and Centennial are the cream of the crop - when they play their best they are the best. Moorhead tourney this weekend should be a good one - wish I could go and watch. Wayzata is big and strong - EP moves the puck with speed - Centennial can make you in awe with speed and skill - #20 is a magician with the puck and the defense #16 is a stud.

My sons B1 team plays EP tomorrow night, I know they just won the Moorhead tournament, but last time we played them, they won late in the game. Have they improved, or was that just an off game for them?

So, judging by the schedule, your son must play for Minnetonka then?

Having watched the first EP/Mtka game, but not the Moorhead tourney, I can't say whether they are playing better or worse, but it was clear that the 1st star of the 1st matchup between the teams went to your goalie. I think he even laughed when EP threw the kitchen sink at him. Hopefully your son is that goalie and you are very proud. Some kids have real nutsos for parents. Like this one guy I know . . .

Will the same goalie be playing tomorrow? Would love to watch him hold back that attack again.

Yes, he plays for Tonka, and no not the goalie. He did play very well against them last time, but I didn't think they played as well against us as some of the other D6 teams did. We have been dominated by other teams worse, as we are not among the elite in D6.

What are your reactions after hearing about the Moorhead tourney? I can't believe WAY,CEN both lost their first game. When did Moorhead jump up to #3 in LPH?

The championship game was very good. I herd that Ep sent players to take notes on other games and their Coach (Johnny Cash, the man in black) was at almost every game and DE taped Edinas 2nd game, and then lost their next so they didnt even see them

GET A LIFE

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... per>easton sniper at: 1/30/06 10:54 pm

EP

Post by glowstick1 »

I play for that edina team and EP has come a watched us for like 6 games. They were at our last district game before the tournament too. They send like 2 guys and those kids take notes and stuff. It actaully really funny because its just bantam hockey and these kids are up in the stands scouting. Did EP ever get that tape from DE?
