I'd say a very close game from the players on each team, but its going to be Centennials power play eating up East. Also I dont think Easts goaltending is as strong as it could be. Centennials goalies have been on fire as of lately also. I will have to say Centennial 4-1 with an empty netter.

No Chance

DE doesn't have a chance against Centennial...Centennial is deeper, more skilled, harder working, and with out a doubt more physical. You are right about one thing, Centennials Power Play will eat them alive. The fact is DE is to small and weak to play in their own end, Centennial will beat them up down low, and I wouldn't be surprised if 80% of the game was played behind the goal line in the DE end, I just don't see them being able to break the puck out because they are too weak!!! My prediction Centennial 7 DE 1

pucklover,
i think centennial will dominate, but they won't win by 6 goals. MAYBE 4. but in the state tourny good teams dont loose by 6 goals.

Centennial wins big

I agree with pucklover, I think Centennial will win big...They will just bring their third forward down low like Roseau did, because the Duluth East Defense can't handle all three guys down there. I have seen that Centennial team play and they can grind you out down low. Three guys down low beating up those DE D-men, I wouldn't be surprised to see this one 4 - 6 goals better than DE.

Cougars have an awesome PP, but I hope the refs don't ruin the state tournament by calling a bunch of questionable penalties. That said, the Hounds PP isn't that great and this time of year you must capitalize on every chance you get...

I hate to say Centennial 4 (3PP) DE 2 (1PP)
