One good game in the quarters - Moorhead v. Tonka. Tonka hasn't been playing as confidently as they were earlier in the year, but their comeback from 3 down in the backdoor game art regionals may change that. Centennial will have a laugher over host Buffalo, and Chaska and Wayzata ought to handle DE and RLF pretty easily.

I'd look for the semis to be a couple of real good games - Chaska's speed against a hot-at-the-right-time Centennial, and Tonka/Wayzata in a rubber game of their matchups (they split 1 goal games earlier this year). Gut says Chaska/Wayzata final, but won't be surprised to see any combo of those four teams (or possiblt even Moorhead).

One giant hope: the refs let them play. I haven't looked back at the best/worst ref thread to see what the word on D2 refs was, but I know D6 refs were getting slapped around pretty good. After what I saw in Stillwater this past w/e, D6 was looking pretty favorable to D2... Anybody got the word on D5 refs???

Ice, don't know about D5 refs but I like your analysis.
A hot goalie (as always) could easily decide this.
