No body has seen these guys play? They were ranked earlier in the season as high as 14, if i recall right.
players? coaches?

FL
Yes, they are the 2nd seed from D2. They beat Tartan, Roseville, and NSP in the district tournament. They lost to WBL in the championship game. Beating Tartan & NSP is no surprise. Beating Roseville would be considered an upset, although Roseville has not played all that well lately. They lost 3-0 to FL, and 4-1 to NSP. They also lost some key players to DQ's during the tournament. Take away Roseville's first line, and you do not have much.

FL has a decent first line, and one pretty good goalie. However, they are top 20 at best. Certainly not top 10.

Cool
I know the head coach of FL from C.C., im sure he's doing everything he can to match up against the bigger programs. If they have a goalie who can get hot, he'll be a piece that can amend a balance.
That's why the playoffs are so great!
Go gett em!

Forest Lake played in the Championship against Champlin Park a few weeks ago in Paynesville at the River Lakes Bantam A tournament. FL had a two goal lead in the third, but Champlin came back to tie it up at the end of regulation. They played a 4 on 4 overtime with was scoreless. Champlin ended up winning in a 3 player shootout. The game could have gone either way. FL took the body on CP and got them frustated with that type of play.
