remember though - matchups can mean Alot in Tournies.
I think Richfield is getting to be a much better team.
I really didn't follow how they rotated their lines the last time I saw them, but they seemed to have the "bottom half" catching up quite a bit to the "upper half" of their team. I believe they play really hard every time I've seen them. I really didn't notice any particular player that stood out above the rest. They do have some players (aprox 5-6) that are pretty solid all the way around though.
The Austin tourney seems to have some lower level teams in it. So depending on Richfield's matchups I could see them doing pretty well there. If Richfield were not locked into the metro area they would be view as an average team, not a lower level team like most seem to see them now.

Let's put it this way.... there is not a single team I look forward to playing come playoff time in the TC District. Really I think any team could beat any other on a given day.

in my opion there 1st line is where they get all there goals. and the 2nd line is ok a little below average for a peeWee A 2nd line but they score a goal ever 3 to for scored. but the two ,main scores are #9 and 16 both have 10+goals. they make a very solid 1st line. and the left wing has sored 2 goals in two games not over impressed but hes a desent player what are the # of the 5-6 good players on Richfield.

PS. thanks for all the info and imput.

There are two team websites for TC Dist teams that post scores. SW/SLP & Johnson, both update quickly. Other than that I just ask the coaches how they did in their last few games when we play them. As far as HEP points I just assume they are gained on every game until I see the TC District standings updated on the TC Dist website. Then I go back and adjust the HEP pts in my standings to reflect those who did not gain their HEP pt on each game.
It sure would be nice if all teams would update their "results" on team webpages.

Dodge County 6
Northfield 0

Northfield is small and doesnt have much speed or passing to make up for it. They didn't like to get hit and DC just pounded them from the first minute. I think shots were about 30-35 to 6 in DC's favor.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... ndy1621 at: 1/6/06 10:24 pm

im starting to keep my pick from novemember on roseau being in the state tourney, and possibly winning it...

Chaska:8
Mankato Purple:0

Score does not reflect how the game went...Chaska got all the bounces, and it was a bad day for the Mankato goaltending unit...Two teams rematch tomorrow, and Mankato should look better on teh scoreboard than today...

Richfields peewee team is very weak i have seen the #16 aka "the 10+ scorer" he is very lazy and loves to hang on to the puck until its eventually taken away. Richfields best player is probally..... if any would be the little guy with the white helmet, #6 i believe. I think that slp/sw will have no problem with these guys and are not a team to look over. To me maybe a below average hockey team.

Dodge County vs. Eagan

Post by hendy1621 »

Dodge County 2
Eagan 1
Great game, both teams hustled and played really good fast-paced hockey. Both of DC's goals came in the first period, one of them coming on a powerplay. Eagan's goal came with 21 seconds left when they had an empty net and DC had crappy face-off coverage so it was kind of interesting at the end. Shots were 19-10 in favor of Eagan, DC's goalie was awesome.
