Honestly, have you all forgotten about Owen Collette? I think i am like the 1st one to bring him up. His GAA is like 1.04. How many goalies can say they have that beat. Besides those goalies who get no competition, playing against bad teams all the time. owen is solid, takes up a lot of the net, quick hands, and a deadly poke check. You will NOT score on him often, especially when on a breakaway.

Pokerstar, your GAA doesn't mean you are a terrific goalie.

Mine is 1 (7 goals, 7 games, 4 shutouts).

Does this mean I am a really good goalie?

Not really.

Mike Lee is really good. Except for he gets shaken when he gets scored on. We were losing to Roseau 5-0, and when we scored 1, we scored 2 more right after. But he is still good all around.

There are two of them.

They are good, we had a controlled scrimmage against them, and they both played.

I wouldn't say that they are at the top though.

#1 is Brent Hollerud. This is his second year as Bantam A. He was Peewee eligible last year, but moved up early. He got a lot of games in last year as the other goalie was hurt. He's got superb technique. He sometimes gets rattled. He played AAA with the 91 Lumberjacks that took the showcase league. My guess is that he will skip Bantams next year and jump to varsity.

#2 is Dan Harper. First year. Plays with the 91 AAA MN Knights. Much improved over last year.

That seems to be with all first year bantam goalies. They get better a ton before the season starts.

Last two goalies are Blaine A kids. quantum is a Blaine guy, but has family and friends with kids playing for several TC area and northern teams in youth and HS.

Just thought I'd find out what it feels like to talk about myself in the third person - you know, like the way the Herschel Walker used to.
