Sauk Centre

Post by oldschool »

Did they compete with Fergus??????
Thing is, every time I played Sauk Centre, (bantam b or a) and yes, my bantam b team played them when they were in the a district....we beat them. we played them as b's and as a's those two years, we won all 4-5 times, including a stomping in the first round of districts in Wadena...yes, some solid players, maybe to them they competed, but we never thought we'd lose...........and all were at least 3-4 goal games.

if i do recall the game w/ the b team was the year dan perry played b's? sauk played w/o their top 4 forwards that game, because they were playing the b team.....the fergus a game that year was a 3-1 or 4-2 game if i can recall correctly, the year miller was a frosh on the varsity..that group lost to moorhead only 6-3 in districts i believe, and was about as good as LF....the following year was similar, they didn't have a tender that year however....

Oh, I thought you meant all of Moorhead, not just the B team. I didn't hear anything about that...
