Re: 2006 Coaching Vacancies
Heard some big names in for BU. Takes a person with strong similar faith-based beliefs to be with that school, and that job is not for everyone as a result. You have to "walk-the-walk" and "talk-the-talk" there.

BSM lost a great coach.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... ckeyfan at: 5/6/06 5:59 pm

Re: 2006 Coaching Vacancies
You also have to go out and find the "right" type of hockey player. A student-athlete who is also looking to walk-the-walk and talk-the-talk. Are they out there? Sure, you just have to find them.

A BIG WOW in Warroad
Didn't think I'd see the day but I was wrong earlier. A couple of school board members rolled over and guess who's coming to dinner....IZZY. Heard he went around to all the players parents and had them sign a letter for the school board to endorse him as THE candidate for the coach. All but two (one being a gold-medalists daughter) signed the letter. I also heard the way he snaked in was to get the former silent assistant to go in as a Co-Coach. But we all know who'll be running the show. Now we get to see if he really can coach versus a player-coach of an All-Star team built by dad and a unsuccessful Squirt coach....

Steve Sertich
If this is true...Go Steve...as a graduate of BSU and a friend of a friend of Steve's. I think he is more than a deserving candidate!!!! Would be great to see someone with some good morals and values take on a program like that!!!!

No idea on TG, but maybe other hockey options? Pure speculation on my part there. I honestly don't know.mnhockey20 wrote:any idea why the totino grace coach stepped down??
