Similar to the GR/FL game.
Not a lot of advantage either way.
I’m expecting 2 games coming down to the wire.
All 4 teams know if they play well, they could move on.

Gameplay in the regular season meeting was relatively even, but RR's experienced talent found the net a few times and that secured the win. I picked RR to win the section because I do think they're the best team in it when at their peak, but the nature of this section is that everyone has flaws, so no outcome would shock me. RR needs to maintain its discipline and play a complete game, as those have been problems for them at times. East needs to limit the selfish play and move the puck to create decent scoring chances. RR definitely has the edge up front, while East has the stronger D corps. Both goalies are respectable, probably the best two in this section. We'll see who can win a big game when it counts.

Scott scores on a breakaway to close the gap to 2-1 with 1:12 left in the 1st. Nice top shelf shot on the backhand.

Rock Ridge putting on big time pressure late in the 1st, will have 1:41 of power play to start the 2nd. Hounds up 2-1, SOG 10-9 (?) in favor of Rock Ridge. That late goal really charged the Wolverines up.

Rock Ridge scores a short-hander with 13:19 left in the 2nd to tie the game at 2. That one hurts the Hounds

Edgerton puts East up 3-2 with 52 seconds left in the 2nd! Period ends with the Hounds holding a tiny lead. They needed that late goal from a momentum perspective. Buckle up for a great 3rd period!

52 seconds into the 3rd and Rock Ridge ties it again 3-3. Ugh. East's D was fairly crappy on that one.

Rock Ridge scores on the power play 23 seconds into the 2nd OT--they'll face Grand Rapids next Thursday in the 7AA final.

Good effort by the Hounds, nothing to be ashamed of.
