Re: 2026 State Tournament
Holy Family sure looks good. I don't really get the positioning by some of the goaltenders. A basic shot that goes through the five hole. Anyway perplexing to me

Re: 2026 State Tournament
I left after the 2nd period but was much happier with the goaltending in the final game.

Good thing about Dodge is the students rock the house.

My squad looking good, ye1t tied after 1. As much as I want my team to win, I want Edina to lose. Just saying.

Re: 2026 State Tournament
I've been watching state tournaments since 1980. That doesn't always matter. And Edina's first line is enough to keep them in it. Hill all year, outshoot everyone 2-1. But doesn't score enough. So what I'm looking for is rock solid defense. Give Edina nothing. Then you win easy.

Re: 2026 State Tournament
Well somehow Edina tired it. Shouldn't really even be in the game. Hopefully they don't give up another down low score haha.

43-27 shots were for HM over HF. Also best Cent 4-3.

Re: 2026 State Tournament
HF head coach is Randy Koeppl who was the Jefferson goalie from the 1992-93 championship teams.
Didn't take long 1-0 Cent.

Yep, the Co-op is destroying this HF team through 2.Nostalgic Nerd wrote: ↑Fri Feb 20, 2026 8:50 pm HF head coach is Randy Koeppl who was the Jefferson goalie from the 1992-93 championship teams.

Re: 2026 State Tournament
Going in, I thought HF would win the whole thing. Kimbrel is the best player. But not going to happen. Centennial playing great tonight. Tomorrow will be a good one. Yes, HM beat them. But Centennial was up 2-0 and 3-1 in the third. HM came back to win 4-3. Should be a good game.

Glad I left. The lead is even larger lol.

Re: 2026 State Tournament
To be honest, this is the best possible result for HM. Centennial winning a close game is one thing. Putting HF on running time, something else entirely. I think this hurts Centennial going into tomorrow.
Re: 2026 State Tournament
I don’t think I had “running time” on my bingo card for this game. Wow HF was awful tonight. If I was HM, I’m not probably sleeping too well tonight after seeing the a$$ whoop the Co-op put down on HF.

Re: 2026 State Tournament
I see it different. Co-op got all the breaks tonight. Tough to get that two nights in a row. I think HM wins by a couple tomorrow. They had their overly tough game tonight and made it through.

Re: 2026 State Tournament
Be interesting if they try to pair #26 and #27 from HM on that #9 from Cent.Sparlimb wrote: ↑Fri Feb 20, 2026 10:49 pmI see it different. Co-op got all the breaks tonight. Re: 2026 State Tournament
Breck really made Warroad pay for whiffing on that pass for a breakaway snipe. 2-0

Re: 2026 State Tournament
Warroad can't generate enough offense against this Breck team. No way they can come back from two down.Nostalgic Nerd wrote: ↑Sat Feb 21, 2026 4:56 pm Breck really made Warroad pay for whiffing on that pass for a breakaway snipe. 2-0

Player of the game has to be the goalie.Sparlimb wrote: ↑Sat Feb 21, 2026 5:53 pmWarroad can't generate enough offense against this Breck team.
