Imagine how different Class A would've been in the 2010s if Breck and Blake were split up back then, too. Would've made for some fun state championship games!

While that's true, Warroad and Dodge County will be heard from. Although Breck looks like a strong favorite this year.

Yes. NSPN will have them for free. I'm 99% sure its free, but I have a subscription every year, so I wouldn't notice. In some ways, the Wed-Thurs broadcasts work nicer then 45 tv which has connection issues all the time.

Much appreciated. I have the yearly sub too.

BTW, where is the best place to get the girls scores? I'm having a damn time since the Star & Trib sucks lol.

Edit: terrible what the Trib did to hockey. I was looking at the schedule for the tourney games, and they didn't even have them all listed. Some games were missing.

So the Strib left the old site up and it still works. To get their, go to the new girls hockey hub and click on "Historical Data". From there, you can search for any team, or if you see a link to MSHSL, click that and then schedule to get into the schedule. To make it easier for me, I just bookmarked HM and the schedules...

Same thing for the boys side.

11 a.m. Thursday:[8] Lakeville North (17-9-2) vs. [1] Hill-Murray (23-3-1)
1 p.m. Thursday: [5] Bemidji (20-5-1) vs. [4] Edina (18-4-3)
6 p.m. Thursday:[7] Farmington (22-4-1) vs. [2] Centennial/Spring Lake Park (24-3-1)
8 p.m. Thursday: [6] Andover (17-10-1) vs. [3] Holy Family (24-3)

I think any of the top 3 seeds can win, I'll take HF to win based on strength in net.

11 a.m. Wednesday:[8] Luverne (19-9-9) vs. [1] Warroad (20-5-1)
1 p.m. Wednesday:[5] Proctor/Hermantown (18-6-2) vs. [4] Dodge County (20-6-1)
6 p.m. Wednesday:[7] St. Cloud (18-9-0) vs. [2] Breck (25-1-1)
8 p.m. Wednesday: [6] Mankato East (24-2-1) vs. [3] Blake (21-6)

I think this is a two horse race between Warroad and Breck, whichever team can carry the most energy into Saturday and gets a favorable bounce will take it. I'll take Breck in a tight one because I think DC is a tougher semifinal matchup than Blake, but I acknowledge that Blake's goaltender could steal one.

#2 game looks good Wednesday but looks like I can skip the first day of games as usual. Could be some heavy blowouts lol. Does the tourney do running time?

I'm not sure I wanna cheer for Warroad but definitely find it repulsive Breck and Blake are together. Good news is one of them gets eliminated in the semis.

Luverne played a good game today. Bounces didn't go there way, but they played way better than I thought they would. Girls should be proud of their effort.

Feeling Lakeville North "Big Red" band, but not sure about the hockey team. #26 HM looks like a giant out there lol.

Gotta like how Farm plays like a team and overall quickness. Well coached. Centennial has the better front load talent though. That I believe #8 looks like a locomotive coming down basically unstoppable.

Farmington looked much better than I expected. They were able to get some really good chances. Centennial is more skilled overall, but Farmington just needs to stick close.

Just happy they survived the Cent PP. I'm not sure they got it outta the zone lol.

They lasted until the 3rd, but still couldn't slow down Centennial and now its over. Its good though, Centennial and Holy Family should be a hell of a game tomorrow night. They've played 4 times this year already (5 must be a record of two teams) and split 2-2.

I may have spoke too soon. 4-3 now...

Well that'll about do it. Think tomorrow I gotta pick Hill. Edina goaltending doesn't look very good. (Though there have been a few times where the Edina goalie all of a sudden plays great when I said they sucked the previous night lol.)

Guess if you just throw the puck at the net your chances are pretty good lol. Seriously though goaltending has been pretty disappointing thus far.

Was an entertaining game for sure. Centennial better learn how to play with a lead though.

Curious to see how this last game turns out. Andover can win (have a win over HM this year).

Andover feels like the dark horse of the tourney.
