I think the WBL goalie was already planning on going to STA.
Doesn't seen that 'gross' to me , but maybe I'm missing something. Sending kid to a nice school like STA (and living with your own family) seems 100000% less 'gross' then shipping your HS aged kid to live in a more or less strangers house in a different city/state all in the name of hockey. Maybe I'm just an old man, but that idea is baffling to me. Is your entire life (kid AND more importantly parents) revolve around just hockey?
