Not a surprise to me. Laura Hillman is a good player, and Jenna Christensen is a good compliment to Hillman. Also, a good team like Albert Lea should be able to keep Kristin Faber in check. She's big, strong and can score, but not really quick and agile. Is Taylor Jenkins Faber's linemate? Like AL's Jenna Christensen, Jenkins should be able to get some chances if the D concentrates on Faber. The rematch should be a good game.

Jenkins is on Fabers line, but did not really get any chances this time around. Right now austin is not living up to expections, but we will see what happens.

Albert Lea could be a sleeper team. New coach (Falk) was boy's assistant coach for several years under Nystrom. After dropping first two to Farmington and Mayo, AL has gone 4-0-1. Gave up 2-18 goal differential in the first two games but 21-10 in the last 5. Tough games ahead, but Tigers may finish in upper third of the Big 9.

AL is a young team- 4 Seniors, 4 Juniors, 3 Sophomores, 5 Freshmen and 3 8th graders.

Nice thing about arch-rivals, good game no matter what.
AL defense forced Packers to take long shots.
Snyder (A) went 13 for 16 and Olchefske (AL) went 37 for 38 between the pipes.
