11/15 scores
Stillwater 5 Edina 2
Edina jumped to a 2-0 lead after 1st period but stillwater came back with 4 in the second and another in the third. Stillwater looks very fast and skilled.

Re: 11/15 scores
New Prague 5, Richfield 2
NP scores three in the final few minutes to win. NP led 1-0 after one, outshooting something like 8-1, but trailed after two, 2-1.
Ambroz gets the game winner on the power play, going coast to coast from behind the net. She gets the hat trick and Britty Smith scores two. Kilpatrick picked up her 300th career point with an assist. NP outshot Richfield 38-12.

Mankato West 15, Fairmont 0

Fairmonts goalie sprained her ankle and went out, so they had to put a skater who had never been in goal before. So the score is deceiving, however, West looks much better than East.

They need to come out stronger in the 1st...thought the same last season, and thought they might do that this season...time will tell.

Stillwater 5 Edina 2

2 penalties on Stillwater, 10 on Edina

4 power play goals for Stillwater (40%), 1 for Edina (50%)

Even strength: Stillwater 1 Edina 1

"One" of the Edina penalties was a 2/10 checking from behind on a defenseman in the first period when Edina was ahead 2-0. Edina uses 4 Ds on the game roster, so improvising was required to replace that D in the box for well over 12 minutes (2+10+the "next whistle").

That particular penalty call, by the way, was a good call - she did it. It changed the game decisively.

Enough being an Edina Whiner for today!
