I believe after all the games tonight C.C. was #11 in the pairwise, I can't believe they would be left out. If they do leave out the #11 the rankings are a joke and why even have them. my bad C.C is #14 right now. disregard my above comment, Denver at #16 has a 3-0-1 record against C.C. this year. Tomorrow is going to be very interesting. I would have to give the spot to Denver instead of C.C. 2nd in the wcha,defending champs let um in I say

I think you have to give Denver a shot, but the Huskies made th Gophers look bad on Friday night. Or maybe Briggs and Frazee made the Huskies look good.

It was pretty simple to me watching the 1 and 2 periods the gophers thought they could just show up and win the game with talent alone. The huskies showed up and played with heart and a desire not to have their season ended. look which one is better.

Exactly. Hard work will win almost everytime. There were times last night that the Gophers were standing still. But the Gophers still should be a #1 seed (IMO).

Good observation Lee regarding the brackets and the possibility of only two WCHA teams in the Frozen Four. I think that is a result of two things. One, the WCHA is in fact the strongest conference in college hockey. Two, the NCAA selection committee wants a more diverse representation in the Frozen Four. I will say this... I think that the championship game will be between two WCHA teams, however, if MSU and BU win their regions they can best contend in those semi-final games...
