The loss to Bemidji will weigh heavy against Buffalo where Brainerd beat Bemidji twice.

I think they are. Who would you move ahead of them? They beat Buffalo twice and Buffalo’s section record at 4-5-1 (assuming they beat Rogers) isn’t great either. STMA is hard to put ahead of Buffalo with two loses to them and one in running time. They would be 5-3-1 if they beat Brainerd. Two good wins in Roseau and Brainerd in that scenario. But they also have a Bemidji tie who Brainerd crushed 14-3 in the season series and both Buffalo loses.
Also, two of their wins would be Rogers who almost nobody else plays twice.

STMA is always hard to seed because they don’t play any of the higher seeds twice. Brainerd played all of the other top seeds twice meaning I think they had a more difficult section SOS. So that is what seems logical to me. I am not saying that is how the coaches will vote though. Sometimes the coaches vote with other factors in mind.

And as I said earlier if Bemidji beats Roseau and STMA loses to Brainerd I think they could slip to 6. STMA would have one quality win vs Roseau but Bemidji would have that same win and a Buffalo win as a Kicker. I think most likely it is STMA 5 and Bemidji 6 though.

Based on section results Moorhead is the favorite, Roseau not far behind and Brainerd definitely in the running.
Buffalo cannot be ignored but not much telling here - they seem to be playing stronger later in the year.
For St Mikes to repeat someone will have to shine in helping their two studs.
Bemidji can not beat the top 3.
St Cloud has given team's a game but an upset sure - 3 no.
Rogers will get Moorhead and then will be playing baseball.
