6-3 East empty net. Final.

Rapids outshot by a ton but still had two 2 goal leads but couldn't hold on. Impressed with their competitiveness against quality teams but still coming up short in the end.

What's up with Ryder Donovan? Not doing much this year.

St. Thomas 3
Hastings 0
Shots were about 35-15

Pretty one sided game but Hastings isn't bad, especially defensively.
With no one team distancing themselves from the pack in 1AA, this certainly won't hurt Hastings.

EGF - 3
Bem - 2

Very even game.
Shots were about even.
Bemidji scored late to make it the final one goal game.
What is a Green Wave anyway?

SCC still up on Sartell 2-0 at the end of 2. SOG Sartell 16, SCC 13. Amundson has been outstanding in net for Cathedral so far.
Yep. Warner in his first game of 2019 tonight. SCC 5 Sartell 1 Final. Play was much closer than score indicated tonight

Warner back yet?

In a somewhat surprising game Jefferson over BSM 3-2. Not concerned about Benilde they’re a young team and losses like this can help them grow. Jefferson is, despite some blemishes, putting together an okay season so far. Wins over CEC, an apparently decent East Ridge team (5-2), and now BSM with a close 3-2 loss to Rosemount. Not exactly pounding on the top 20 door, but I’m pleasantly surprised by their effort so far.

SCC missing one of their top D due to injury...fairly close game first two periods...but SCC definitely had the better chances...Sartell scored a garbage goal early in the third...after that it was all SCC...at one point shots were 12-3 Cathedral in the third...I know Sartell beat Alex...but I definitely think Alex is the more dangerous of the two teams.

Bears always tough in the West Metro

Outshot the Skips 30-27, but came up short 3-2 after a couple goals late in game to keep it close and avoid a shutout by Glockner .

Thought Bears played Tonka overall closer than Crimson did a couple weeks ago

Greg Trebils grandson did a nice job as the Skips flag bearer

Solid performance by the Bears last night, I think they've solidified themselves as the top seed in 4AA for now.

1. WBL
2. HM
3. Stillwater

Benchwarmer Bob's grandson plays for Tonka so you will see him once in awhile.

Some nice games last night but also a lot of blowouts. Surprised to see teams with the depth of Blake and Chaska continuing to score goals in running time blowouts with their star players. I always figured that was the time for the third and fourth line guys to get on the board.

I also think that Jefferson is looking good. I have seen Benilde and thought they have been playing some great hockey. Kudos to the Jags for the nice win.

Didnt realize the 3rd was so lopsided since I stopped listening after the 2nd. The hub had the final shots at 22-20 for SCC and only 9-4 in the 3rd period. I think SCC is a class above Sartell/Alex but either could pull off the upset on a given night.

I don’t know about Blake but I caught most of the Chaska game on livestream and they had their 3rd line playing a regular shift all game and their 4th line played every other shift it seemed in the 2nd period until one of them took a major penalty. Even during that kill Chaska played 4th liners. Pretty sure their 4th line plays a full game of jv so they would then only have the one period to play at varsity.

Blake has good top end talent, but is actually not very deep (yet). Still, your point is very valid that the top two lines should have been kicking up their feet on the bench during that third period, given the score and shot disparity.
