East at #3 surprises me quite a bit....until I realize that these are the Let's Play Hockey ratings. Then all makes perfect sense

Lee
____________
Message Board arsonist since 2005

Didn't somebody post the previous years rankings before last season also?
Moorhead sets a new state tournament record!

Now, I'm not saying this just because I'm the big Hill fan, but yeah that is quite low. Hill is returning basically their whole team and finally some goaltending experience. I'd stick them around the 9 or 10 spot for now. I will say that it's always fun to be the sleeper rather than trying to maintain a top spot.

The rest of the list isn't quite the best though. Moorhead at #2 after losing basically their entire squad? Tartan at #7 after losing many key seniors? In my opinion, not the best list. But we must remember that these are just pre-season rankings. Once the season begins, this should become more accurate.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... The online version of LPH still has a big bold FINAL over those rankings, so I'm assuming they have not come out with the first poll for this year yet.

Hillfan, make sure you read the other posts before you post. This is last years FINAL rankings, not this years.

Elk River AA State Champions- 2001 Boys & 2004 Girls

Haha ER, my bad. I was going to say those are some strange rankings. All I know is I won't post anymore when I'm in a hurry (I didn't go through the replies).

Hasn't anyone noticed the big FINAL on the front of each column of rankings.
