I don't know BSM is going to be pretty deep. They have 5 players in the Elite 1 league and 6 in the Elite 2 and a couple more that could have made it. if they can improve on offensive production from last year they will surprise people. <p></p><i></i>

Section 7AA. If you think the last few seeding meetings have had controversy...just wait til this season. I have a feeling 1-6 will be a complete crap shoot. Like, there won't be these 3 teams will be 1-3 and these 3 teams 4-6, it will just a be a complete mess 1-6. As my best friend bluesbuddy would say, "mock mah words". <br><br>hockey81, do you play for Brainerd? I'm not saying they can't make it to state, but the definetly have some monkeys to get off their back. They've never beat Rapids or East in their history or made it to the 7AA finals. But they'll be a good team I'm sure. <p></p><i></i>

GR19,They did beat east in 2002. That was Licari's senior year. <br>The 7AA title game will be East- Elk River. I hate having Elk River in 7AA. It's just unnatural. <p></p><i></i>

Nothing is wrong with 7AA (except Cloquet), ER just doesn't fit in it geographically very well. Seems that MSHSL can't find a home for them and I thought 4AA was a great fit. Yeah, ER is unnatural in 7AA, I don't like them being here too much, but it doesn't matter. Just compare their past two years at state to East's last two years at State. ER = Two and out both years. East = 3rd place both years. Also, compare the sections. 4AA had great teams like Blaine, Champlin Park <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :rollin --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/roll.gif ALT=":rollin"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON END--> , and well, ok Osseo was actually pretty good, I'll give them that. 7AA had GR, a team that always plays East tough, along with FL who surprised many last year, and also Cloquet, and they're alright. East also had a rough beginning last year having to forfeit 13 games, and had some controversy surrounding Randolph. Yet they still made it to State and beat WBL and Tartan. ER lost to Moorhead and then Lakeville (whom East beat in the first round) in 2004, and then Tartan (whom East beat 5-3 for third place), and Bloomington Jefferson. My point being that East has done better in previous years playing good teams with great rivalries, and then moving on to State to do even better. ER coming into 7AA doesn't really make sense, although I am sure they will just be another stepping stone for East on their way to the top.<!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :D --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/happy.gif ALT=":D"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON END--> <p></p><i></i>

Cloquet couldn't pull it off last year....what's different about them this year? The added experience? They still have a great coach which should keep them in the running, but everybody else who will be trying to take the title in 7AA has alot to offer too...so, why is this the year for Cloquet? <p></p><i></i>
