possibly the indus knights, or the cass county central whatevers might have a chance... nah just kidding! Really Im thinking Bagley Eagles have a chance! They used to play on the lake until the late 80's.... I have no idea where I was going with this!

Sorry!

-The SLinger

I think Holy Angels have to be a favorite to win state this year. They kept a lot of good players from last year, and they always seem to find a few more in the offseason. WBL and BJ also have to be up there. As for Moorhead it's supposed to be a rebuilding year after loosing 15 players from last year, but you can't count them out. They can't seem to win when they are supposed to, so maybe this will be a good chance to do it when there is less pressure and no one is expecting it. They are going to need to find a goalie before they can do anything. Two graduated last year and one left to play in a different league.

Moorhead will have to play the winner of the Monticello vs. Becker / Big Lake series in the opening round of sections this year. Three times a charm baby... Upset of the decade (or is it bigger than that? probably not...)

Lets just hope they seat the Holy Angels fans in the Section 206 corner again this year. Always worth a grin, or two...

Slinger..just to clarify

It's the Indus TROJANS, Bagley FLYERS and Williams WOLVES. In fact, I had an opportunity to see the 1949 Williams State Runner-Up trophy this summer, it still resides in the old high school along with the stuffed wolf mascot. Went to a function in the old gymnasium reminded me of the Hickory Huskers gym. Hard to believe those old gyms built from 1910 to 1940 have the same size playing area as the new ones-they do. A fast break and speedy lay-up must have been murder with the brick end wall about a foot from the end line. Who said those BB players weren't tough. But I digress.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... m>Renegade Ram at: 11/1/05 5:58 pm

I'll have to agree on Holy Angels being at the top. The Stars are returning basically their whole squad except for a few that graduated. Now, I'm hoping that the Pioneers can make some magic this year, but we can only wait to see what the results will be.
