Very fun game played by two very talented teams. Tomorrow should be a great day of games and Rapids should be right there with EP. I'll be at the games and I might even be wearing some orange :D

Congrats to Bemidji on a great game, its tough they had to play rapids in the first round, hopefully they bounce back and win the remainder of their games at Mariucci. They will make some noise again next year, they lose some solid seniors but that Hartje is a heck of a defenseman plus Polluck and Tatro can return

I thought all the AA games were very good; if Farmington could hit the net.....Wayzata let that game be much closer than it should have......the Anoka kid with the hat trick made that game entertaining......then an ot game. A was awful as usual.....

Tomorrow you have Stillwater who is pretty blah vs. Wayzata who I think people will actually pull for because hockey people like O'Leary..... and GR vs. EP with a clear crowd favorite.

Yeah, I didn't think the games were bad. The only one that bored me was the Anoka/Ep game. All the other AA games I thought were fun to watch

Another game down to the wire. Wow. Hope they can keep it rolling vs. the Eagles.
I think Adams may have shot past Trump and Hillary in the polls. :)

Wow why do you even go to the A games then? I thought the games in each were overall pretty entertaining except Farm and Wayzeta which should have been even worse I agree. Well Herm LDC of course too. GR showed some tenacity again in a great game. And as a GR guy, let's stop blaming East for our own player going ineligible. Whose fault is it really.

This from MSHSL policy regarding substance abuse:

"B. Penalty:
1. First Violation: After confirmation of the first violation, the student shall lose eligibility for the next two (2) consecutive interscholastic contests or two (2) weeks of a season in which the student is a participant, whichever is greater. No exception is permitted for a student who becomes a participant in a treatment program."

According to this, it doesn't look like he'll be able to play at all.
Nope, that's been the rule for many, many years. It's really a bummer, after watching Rapids for the first time last night it would be really fun to see them with him in the mix.

Very good game and two great teams. Crazy to think they are both Class A enrollments playing up. I'm glad these programs are willing to challenge themselves against the best or we would have all been robbed of watching that game last night. Micah Miller is worth the price of admission. Rare to see a kid go that fast while controlling the puck the way he does. Wasn't super impressed with Mattson. Impressed yes, but not 2nd round NHL draft pick impressed. He looks slow out there but I realize that's probably because he's so big, those guys always look like they're going slower than they are. Would love to see Rapids take this home.

Figured it out via Twitter. That's too bad. When you booze you lose.
