Valid point. First off, as much as I'm sure they would like to have him out there all the time, he's not, though close. Second off, I know everyone thinks Marshall is a joke, but believe it or not they got a couple kids who like to play the game hard and well, there's one kid in particular who can skate with, and probably ahead of anyone in the section strictly from a straight forward beat you with speed standpoint, he had 2 g's that even the best in the section just couldn't contain him. 3rd off and I was hoping to avoid going here, Marshall was aided in a couple by goaltending. Marshall didn't have much zone time but took advantage of rushes after weathering the storm and breaking out after a lot of low zone time by LDC forwards.

Lastly, that may say as much about the rest of the defensemen in the section as it does about him. He is the best one I've seen all year that a team relies on to be on the ice asmap, controls all plays, quarterbacks in each zone while staying responsible for all assignments.

I believe he will skate in the Great 8, will be interesting to see if anyone with some real acumen finds him to have next level potential.

Could be that its what I think and other people would disagree.
