STA grew a pair and opted up but can da braves beat them and Da Mount Rose in the Sections and go back to state one more time?

doubtful. the games in this section should be 'closer' if teams play sta physically.

STA has more skill IMO, but the braves might be a little deeper. Ill take STA in a close one but could go either way.

despite getting pulled in the last game, i'd imagine Atticus Kelly gets the start in this one. it'll be interesting to see how short of a leash he's on.

Kelly is better but STA has a history of starting older goalies... Aldricker (sp?) over Mcneely comes to mind

it's not a bad problem to have. Kelly played double (or so) the minutes this year. after looking more into Burnsville, I am really excited for this game, I think it'll be a classic.

Hope you're wrong on that one! It'll be a good game regardless. I'm excited to see if this younger core at STA can get the job done. STA also has put up some pretty poor results in section finals in recent years. Good luck

Not true...The Cadets went to state last year, lost in the finals the year before, and won a state tournament the previous three years before that.

Of the last 5 section finals, they've won 4 (their only loss to an Eagan team who did surprisingly well at State).

Jason Knuth has on his Twitter feed a picture of Ridder Arena from where the camera is, holding out hope there's video.

0-0 after one, shots are 16-7 on the board, that seems off to me, I would say 14-9, but I'm not paid to do it.

Both goalies look good, lee for Bville has had to make some tougher saves but neither looks nervous or shaky.
Otto and osland were very good for Burnsville. Otto looks the best for either team so far. Bville's top line is pretty good, after that their is a drop. The cadets are deeper, but the players on those depth lines are pretty young, small guys.
Burnsville is the bigger team, but both are playing the body well.
Burnsville had two penalties, StA had none.
I believe roman Achan took the first one, which was about 15 seconds in. The refs talked it over to see if it should have been five, but just gave it two for roughing.
The 2nd one was bizarre. Burnsville crashed the net and a little pushing broke out after the whistle. They only took yhe blaze player when the situation should have been coincidentals or nothing. It didn't make sense to take one and not the other at least from what I saw.
