Hartman Transfer to Apollo?

Post by Crack69 »

Is that true that Hartman went to Apollo? If that is I really believe Cathedral Went from a 16-9-0 Record This Season to a 14-10-1 based on his talent alone

Hartman played with Apollo 2004-05 season. Whether or not he is staying, haven't heard.

so i see ur a real thinker when it comes to things huh? so if u would even look at stats he did barely ne thing for cathedral and was the 5th D that played less than half of ne one else. even if he HAD done soo much there are so many other factors involved. oh also if he's that great would'nt he have made apollo that much better? when in fact they were just as terrible as usual.

Hartman

Post by RLStars »

Cathedral was very deep at defense and I'm sure Hartman transfered so he would play more. Sounds like the kid just wants to play and doesn't only care about being on a winning team.

on the contrary my friend...he would have been SCCs 4th D last year most likely, Playing a lot for cathedral. He had made great improvements and was becoming a solid player. I think he was pushed out of Cathedral because of no Brent Boerger, and possibly JV. And no, I'm not talking about Junior Varsity.
2A

If he was pushed out by JV, he wouldn't have played alot for Cathedral. I'm not talking about Junior Varsity either. Boerger is one heck of a coach and one of the finest people I've meet. Unfortunately, Boerger left, (of his own will or not) and you need to play with the hand that your dealt.

Apparently Hartman liked the odds in the game at Apollo and will increase Apollo's odds of taking thier game to the higher opening bid tables in the future. Did that skate around things well enough for you 2A?

Pushed out meaning that he saw the writing on the wall that the then coach (JV) was going to be a bad coach to play for. He would have played, but at what cost? Now that SCC has a new coach, perhaps new-life will be brought to the table. I have a feeling that if they hadn't have made a coaching change, others would have left this year too.

Whoever started this thread should be banned for being too stupid to check some simple facts before hitting the keyboard.

pushed out

Post by 2AhockeyOldTimer »

Pardon me, he was not pushed out. He left because he didn't want to play with the hand that was dealt. He DID know that he was going to get poor coaching at SCC. Why not transfer to apollo to play better teams? SCC plays bad teams, and had bad coaching...increasing the chances of becoming a bad player.
2A

The hockey players for the most part I think really like him. I think there will still be some problems with the same families that have been causing problem for the last 3 or 4 years.

As for Hartman, he'll stay at Apollo. There is no stability at Cathedral as far as coaching. Who knows how long it'll be til a new coach is brought in. I'm saying 1 or 2 years.
2A

transfer

Post by scottparker »

A transfer now would require loss of 1/2 of the season. No, Hartman won't go back to Cathedral. In fact, the rumor is he may jump ship to a junior program. SCC's deep at defense now anyway, but time will tell how they'll do under a new coach.

2A, you hit the nail on the head with one exception, the trouble parents have dwindled down to just a few, and they really don't have the support they used to. It's going to be a lot better in that regards than Apollo will be. I feel for Larson trying to keep that ship afloat..
