Transfers

Post by johnh72 »

I heard a rumor that junior goaltender Brent Buhl of simley is heading to woodbury...is this true? Big mistake? and how will this affect the goaltending situation?

I havent heard of this kid, I'm assuming he played JV last year? since I believe Simley rotated 2 seniors.

I don't pretend to know this kids situation, but I do know that Inver Grove Heights loses a lot of players and students in general to So. St. Paul and Hastings in particular because of advanced classes that are offered at those schools and not at Simley. But like I said, I have no knowledge of this particular case.

Was he supposed to be Simley's starter this year?

He transfered from SSP last year and made the JV. He ended up not even playing at all I heard.

Buhl

I was talking with some ppl who are very close to him. He trasnfered over from ssp because he grew up in IGH. He made varsity but had to sit out the first 13 games. He played a little jv before he got really ill. The doctor's couldnt figure it out and he was in the hospitil a lot. I guess it's taken care of now. He's a pretty underated goalie in my opinion. I saw him play at selects at the final 51 and he did a great job. He is moving to woodbury along with his family for personal reasons. I wish the best of luck to him

if he's transferring....

nm, I just re-read Buhl's post. If it's a family move, the transfer rule doesn't apply.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p074.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... ckeydad at: 8/18/05 8:50 am
