Ranier your killing me smalls Greenway?

So tell me how do you really feel about the ex hibbing stars over helping the raiders? It has me baffled. I do know there was a lot of hard feeling when Mark Decenzo retired but this is odd by anyones standard

Off the wall Metro, because it's too easy to pick Northern teams....

Prior Lake and Stillwater.

2 programs that have never done a darn thing. But their current groups had success in Pee Wees and Bantams.

Could that success propel them to Section Titles?

Hopkins rides a hot goalie to beat Benilde, Wayzata and Edina.

St Michael beats Brainerd, M Head and Bemidji. GB

Yes, if I can't pick my own team, then I'd pick Greenway. If you want to discuss the other stuff, go back to the Hibbing-Greenway thread and we'll talk.

I also think it would be neat if Cloquet made a run in 7AA.

That's okay. Everyone can make a mistake, even Steve Harvey.

I just read the paper.
And listen to the news on the radio.
And of course what ever happens here.

Bemidji and GR! In an Ideal world it all plays out to have them face each other.

Personally I don't think Bemidji gets the respect they deserve. They should have gotten a more competitive non-conf schedule set up like Rapids, Moorhead, East, etc. That probably would have helped.

I think they are the best northern team this year. Have a hard time seeing anyone beat them in 8AA this yr.

Most certainly the latter. A decade later, we're still hearing stories of the amazing escapades of Patrick White... :P

Prior Lake so I don't have to see EP or Holy Family, and then Jefferson.

I almost picked Rapids, but after all the smoke that was blown following their one quality win, I'm not sure I could handle a run to state.

They'd both be long shots to win their sections, but I'd love to see Kennedy in class A and Jefferson in AA. These two represented their section at State each year from about 1980 to 1995, winning 5 or 6 titles during that period.

Crookston and Mesabi East

All the years that Crookston has had hockey, how many state tournaments have they been too?
What is a Green Wave anyway?

Do they still allow bantam b2 teams in class A tourney? Or will section 3A winner be at least Bantam single A caliber this year?

I would love to see a State Tournament with 8 of the best teams in state. An actual tournament to decide the champion.

Except Luverne couldn't even win the Bantam State tourney....(3A is the equivalent though....)

Hibbing A
CEC AA

I just hope to see Cloquet with a legitimate shot at winning AA before I die. Not just getting to state, but a legit in-the-conversation shot at the crown.
