Grand Rapids vs Eden Prairie

Post by elliott70 »

This game will determine the second best team in the state (not considering HT and Breck).

I despise all teams that wear orange and black, but come on Indians we have to have a northern team to cheer for now that DEast sucks.

I just cannot get tired of saying that.

I think Grand Rapids will surprise and take this one, especially if they play as good as yesterday.

I'm predicting 5-3 GR.

Which would make the Hornets effort last night look a bit better, since periods one and three were toss ups anyway. :D

I'm going with GR 4-3.... in OT! No better time than tonight to finally take one that has to go a few extra minutes.

Eden Prarie 7
GR 5

Should be a good old fashioned shoot fest. Both teams have similar question marks and powerful offenses. And like DEast, Edina is not the powerhouse they once were (nice victory for GR nonetheless)

I agree with the 50 / 50 voting and 1 goal game. Only thing I'm concerned about is Rapids letdown after last nite. I will be there

you're funny, I didn't really post in the mindset of making Hornets look better than EP. I do think EP plays better than Edina this year but for some reason I still think Grand Rapids can take this one.

It's going to be an interesting game though, as there are no guarantees, both teams are playing great hockey and I see them very close to each other.

EP in complete control, Sogs 14 to 2 at end of first . Rapids needs to juice up in locker room, looks like letdown after last nite. One thing would help is quit letting CM handle the puck for 10 seconds at a time. EP will start 2nd on Pp.

Staying out of the box would go a long way too

Yes but CM goal was full strength and he is skating and Stickhandling at will . They got to put body on him in chest, stead of watching eyes or puck

4 to 1 after 2. Sogs 26 to 11. Rapids only chance is to come out with a more physical game on both ends, and then get the next goal

The Eagles are very good at not allowing GR to bring the puck with any momentum. The Injuns are going to have to be quicker. No other way to say it.
