That being said Snow is still a solid goalie who is capable of stealing a game himself. Two (actually 3) great coaches. I think it will be a one goal game and it maybe an OT thriller. I hope whoever wins can give Edina a good run in the semis. My heart says East will win but my head says STA. Ill take the cadets 4-3.

Also looking forward to 2 great student sections battling. That should be just as close as the game on the ice.
I just hope they don't banish the cadets to the upper deck like they normally do for AA. It was always fun having their huge section taking over the lower bowl.
I hope they class up the joint and don't allow the cadets inside.
One Elliott you're a tool.

Second too much speed up front for East to handle. It is just an all around bad match-up for East. If East ends up in the box for any significant amount of time they are hosed. STA's PP is absolutely lethal. And lets not forget most of the STA team has been to this dance before as well. It wasn't the big dance but even so plenty of veteran leadership on both sides.

Forgot to add my prediction 5-2 STA

Elliott, if you've got a minute could you answer a question over on the Youth Forum about the participation rule changes? Thank you!

guys I was just kidding with the Lake Placid comment (doesn't seem to be much of a sense of humor here) this should be a good game if STA gets their PP chances they could pull away if not a 1 goal game but still like STA 5-2

Gonna be tough for easts D to hold back STAs offense. But I'm gonna go with east 3-2 , based on their never say die playing as if late. And for a little redemption from earlier in the season.

Academy smelled blood, capitalized on the East mistake.

Cadets looking solid so far, very physical game.

What do the signs in the STA student section say? Can't read from here and the in house camera isn't close enough.

That's funny! It's interesting that DE realized they've got to work for what they want, and that it's not about the best players, but the right players. I bet ER thought they wouldn't have to work until they met Lakeville North or Edina in the championship game. ER has a bad habit of looking beyond and admiring what great players they are. Just look at their last 6 years and the battles CEC has given them in the section playoffs.

Overall, I just want to say thank you to St. Thomas Academy. Win or lose, isn't this game a lot more fun than your past Wednesday's at the tourney?

Welcome to the tournament; I'm sure we'll see a lot more of you too!
