I like Bemidji - have said it from day 1 of the season - even when Rapids shredded them. But they haven't played anything like Edina this year.....sorry...going to be a long morning for Tharaldson and the boys. Hope Im wrong - it doesn't appear sowarriors41 wrote:Not sure it will fit the definition of a slaughter. Do hornets bleed very much?NLHockey wrote:Time for slaughter...afraid to watch.

Are they using some kind of Jedi mind trick by letting Edina score 3 in the first 5 min? I guess Rocky did the same thing in all of his fights...Maybe Edina will get sick of scoring and the Jacks will take off.TTpuckster wrote:I am watching the intros.Ozzie82 wrote:I don't think so. Bemidji's best chance is that Edina doesn't take the game seriously. That's a possibility, of course, but even so Bemidji is a looong shot. Best of luck to both teams!O-townClown wrote:Edina just beat Burnsville 10-1. Does Bemidji have as good of a chance as some people think?
Edina looks cocky to me.
Bemidji is going to surprise them out of the gate.
But, it is a 3 Period Game.
Bemidji has to believe they can win.
Edina is the best team in the tourney. This group has won championships all the way up and will win another this year. It was a great run for Bemidji. Congrats to them for making it here.

Agreed. I thought the same thing. It could've easily been 5-0 after 1. I said before that Bemidji needed to get through the first 5 minutes without giving up a couple goals, and it was 2-0 before the game was even 5 minutes old. Bemidji did look a little better by the end of the period though.Doc Holliday wrote:3-0 after 1.
Funny thing is, I thought Bemidji goalie made some big saves to keep it only at 3.

The net never moved, the only reason it was not a goal from the start was the ref was out of position and by the time he saw, the goaltender had fished the puck out of the netwarriors41 wrote:Was the net off or not? Yeah the announcer just corrected and said it was never actually off, just a weird angle when seeing the review.green4 wrote:The net never moved, the only reason it was not a goal from the start was the ref was out of position and by the time he saw, the goaltender had fished the puck out of the netwarriors41 wrote:Was the net off or not?
