Mankato played their hearts out but NP rose to the challange anchored by the great game by the goalie Conner Wagner and the boys following the coaches game plan. See u at the X!!!

Absolutely a great game. The goal with six seconds left by Kilian was a heads-up play. Goalie thought he had the puck covered. Agreed that Wagner was the star of the game. He made some great saves.

Mankato West dominated many stretches of the game. It was a fantastic game and Wagner was phenomenal. A few key mistakes burned them. Tough to see a game be decided by that third goal. Hats off to New Prague, they're a gritty bunch who works very hard. Sometimes in hockey the better team doesn't win, and that seemed to be the case last night. New Prague should be a very worthy representative of Section 1A.
