If that score is correct, good for Chisago. It's about time someone beat them and will shut up the ptown tigers guy for a while. Good luck being undefeated in the RRC now.

i was able to go to the game. the real score was 3-2 with princeton hitting the pipe 3 times and having an obvious goal disallowed for a reason i still can't figure out. princeton came out flat and chisago looked like a team wanting to prove something. 2-0 before englund netted a couple to tie. the third period was all princeton. but when that goal was waived off it seemed to put out the fire. the game winner was scored with under a minute to play. some additional game notes: chisago's goalie played great while princeton's let three easy ones by (one from the red line) bacon was held at check all night, hit one pipe englund was dominating in the boards as usual #20 for chisago (sorry about name, can't find game notes) was by far the best player for chisago.

What I find amazing is that they must have internet access right in the lockerroom in Ptown. Where do you find that stat on pipes hit in a game??? Pipes are like those players that aren't playing that game: "IF ONLY, IT WAS CLOSE, yaddayaddayadda, so-and-so was out, Mr. Slapshot went to the JRs early.." The bottom line is the score... Win, lose, or tie it's the score at the end of the game... Did you know that hitting a pipe doesn't even count as a shot?? The only way it counts as a shot is if the goalie hadn't stop it, it would have been in. A piper counts just like a shot that goes 10 feet wide of the net... So I'm still waiting to hear about the water for ptown... maybe Mr. ptown tiger was sick and didn't get the water right??? Ya Practice is over. We came out flat, they didnt. They were ready to play. Thats all there is to it. First period they were beating us to the puck, and basically keeping it in our zone, they Outshot us 14-4. Second period we came out and played but couldnt put the puck in. This time we outshot them 15-4. Third period again we came out, basically outplayed them, put 2 in tied it up. Yes we got a goal disallowed because the ref lost sight of the puck, but it is a judgment call and there is nothing you can do about it. You have to give Chisago all the credit in the world, they always come out and play against us, have beat us atleast the last three times at home. And as for Boardfan, I do not believe he is a Princeton player. Not positive but I dont think so. Also, why are you making it seem like we were being cocky about this game. We all said it was going to a tough close game, it was other people that said we were going to smoke them. Not us. P.S. they had plenty of water Good Teams Would be Nothin without Good Water.....

I haven't seen anything from hockeywriter... Any info on the upcoming games, say between tonight and Saturday? Not sure who plays who. I always like to see what you anticipate happening, you do have some well thought out information. Looking forward to seeing what you think..

Here are the games in 2A tonight. Also my predictions on who will win are the teams in bold. Sartell vs Moose Lake Princetonvs STMA Pine City vs Becker/Big Lake Duluth Central vs Proctor Duluth Marshall vs Duluth Denfeld Not that big of games tonight. Just looking forward to the next couple of weeks, when we get some good match ups. Sauk Rapids @ Lourdes Tomorrow Night and @ Owatonna the next day. Mora @ SCC on the 4th Proctor @ Pine City on the 8th SCC @ Princeton on the 11th Sartell @ Mora on the 14th

What's up with all-mighty Tigers of Princeton??? They lost to Chisago Lakes and now they only beat STMA 4-3. I've seen some of the worse teams in this section beat them 5-0 or worse. If this is how this team is gonna play at the end of the season, you can almost count on a non-repeat of last years quick state trip.

Pine City almost lost to Becker, 6-5. What happened to them. One day the play Princeton tough the next they almost lose to the worst team in the state. I think that pine city will make a very early exit in sections this year. By the way 2ahockeyman, it is a real bad cliche (not metaphor)

If anyone can tell us about the Princeton game, it's ptown... Heck, he's the manager of the team... All I've heard from him is how bad all the other teams are, yet nothing on how close his team came to losing to on of the worst teams around... Just waitin' to hear the details... I'm here dont you worry about that, You have to remember though I am a student, and I do have school. Also I was tired last night so I went to bed. But the score was 4-2. I tell you one thing that was one of the more interesting games I have seen this season. STMA is THE CHEAPEST team I have ever seen in my life. Or atleast they were that game. They didnt seem that bad the first time, but it was horrible. The refs were also the worst team I have ever seen in my life. They went from calling nothing until our Coaches tweaked to calling every little thing. The first shift of the game, 5 seconds after the whistle one of their players crosschecked one of ours right in the mask right in front of the ref... No call. Next shift a blatent two handed slash, to one of our players again no call. it was like that all first period. Then the second period there was probably less then 2 minutes of it where there were no penelties, both teams. third period was decent refing but the first two where horrible. Now granted we did not play the best game, and I am not trying to make it seem like it was all the officials fault, but it is hard to do anything against a team that two hands you every time you have the puck. You should see some of the arms of the players today in school. Everyone one of them had massive bruises. But We do need to pick up the pace before playoffs or we are in for a rude awakening. Hopefully playing better competition the next few weeks(Marshall, and SCC) will help. But like everyone knows playoffs are a whole new season, anything could happen. I would also like to know what happened to the Hockeywriter, I think it is due time for one of his scouting reports. No doubt we dropped a few spots. Pine City didn't almost lose to Becker/Big Lake, the game was not even close until the end when they scored a few lousy goals. Besides taht the game was way out of reach, i think it was 6-2 with like 4 minutes left and they scored some bad goals, who cares, everyone plays bad----Princeton 10, STMA 0 first time ----Princeton 4 STMA 2 can you say bad game there, it's pretty much the same thing. Anyone can play good or bad on any given night. Dont' count Pine out in the playoffs, they will surprise alot of people.
