St Paul Academy (5-1) @ Totino-Grace (3-4-1) 12-21-13 3pm

Post by HShockeywatcher »

Maybe not the biggest, but probably the most important game of the week in Class A. With SPA having beaten Maht and TG losing, an SPA win on Saturday would most likely secure the #1 seed for them in section 4A while a loss would leave it up to comparing the three dissimilar schedules.

Good luck to both teams.

Can you really secure the #1 section seed in December?

I can't vote on this one due to my lack of single A mascot knowledge.

Obviously if SPA falls apart over the next couple months, that would be taken into consideration, but knowing what we know about them and who the other top 3 teams are, I bet it would be hard to rank them below either having won head to head match ups with each.

Totino's also lost to Mahtomedi, so they may get the 3rd seed with a loss here.

If Totino wins, though, all bets are off. Which is why it is such an important game, for both teams.

TG will win easily. They have been playing a tough schedule since game #1 . SPA has only played 1 tough game so far. Let them play the game and see what shakes out.
TG 5 -SPA - 2

Have to agree. As long as SPA keeps playing the schedule they do
it's impossible to take them seriously...
