AA.EP 5 ER 2....I hate to be the illuminator of the perfectly obvious but ER's schedule has been somewhat sub-standard thus far. I guess the take away is until they start playing top 10 teams consistently, don't believe the hype. (Disclaimer I have seen them 4-5 times and they are in the conversation to take the title, they are that good). Playing also rans will not help that goal of state title.

You are right the Elks are struggeling, but keep in mind we are 2 & 1 vs EP this year. Also at last nights game the Elks played the #2 goalie for the first 2 periods and rolled all three lines. EP had the studs out every other shift, EP staff played to win last night it appears the Elks staff didn't.

Both really great teams and will see each other again.

Congrats EP on a big win!

Again, taking nothing away from the elks. And I wouldn't consider 1 tie and 1 loss struggling, just playing top teams. As far as the 2-1 record vs. EP I think you can throw out the game that EP had to dress a goaltender(if I'm not mistaken) to get to 9 skaters.

Eden Prairie put a beat down on Elk River... Eden Prairie did not shorten the bench. They were by far the better team last night. Say what you will and make all the excuses you want. What was the excuse the night before when you barely escaped the wrath of Tonka?? Must have been the size of the ice. Have seen the Elks play a couple times and have seen the comments here. Learn to lose without excuses... Hey it might trickle down to the the players. Just a suggestion.

Looks like EP is the clear cut top Bantam AA Team, great forwards, big D and solid tending. It's theirs to lose.

Snowpuck, yes a total beat down. We left the rink with our heads between our legs. We have to play our best to beat EP and we didn't do that on Sunday.

With your impressive win over ER and your impressive 4 to 2 win over Tonka it's clear your the team to beat. #1 team in my oppinion.

OMG BAA - 1
EP BAA - 3

Good test for OMG vs Eagles. Normally by Christmas, would have played EP about 5 times--first meeting of the year comes 12/18!!

Did the new #1 ranking go to the Eagles heads?? Or is YHH and LPH clueless on Power Rankings?

I can understand YHH putting the Eagles at #1 is about drawing market share right?

Let's wake up Rankers and put the Ponies at the #1 spot, they earned it

Not sure if this question is directed at me? Just posting a score, which is what this thread is for.

OMG plays Prior Lake next, and I expect the Lakers to be every bit as tough as EP.

Ep 2-2 vs ponies, with Ep winning most recently. That being said I think they are probably neck and neck. Let's see how the ponies do against ER I think they have some games coming up. I suspect the ponies will handle them.

ER Elks Bantam AA mows down top notch competition in this weekends showcase. So much for my thought of a weak schedule. This team is the real McCoy. Congrats to the Elks, scary good.
