Congrats to the Rochester Ice Hawks and Twin Cities Northern Lights for qualifing for nationals. Rochester looks loaded with Minnesota players that were very good in High School were Twin Cities appears to have a few Minnesota boys. <br><br>Good luck to both! <p></p><i></i>

Ah no I have a son thats plays on that team and thats what was awarded to them, they also shared the third place with the Nort. Lights!! Both teams to my knowledge got the same hardware after listening to it on the internet!! Hope this helps! <p></p><i></i>

Congrats to the Minnesota Junior Hockey League on another good showing at Nationals. Both teams advancing to the Semi Finals is impressive. <br><br>It's really to bad that the league doesn't get more credit. Seven or Eight years ago the league was a joke with lots of fighting and a sprinkle of talent. Now you see kids from the Elite League on teams rosters and tons of Great 8 players as well. <br><br>It amazes me that kids all around the State would rather quit then play Midget AAA, Junior B, or Division 1 Club hockey. Especially since they've probably never seen any of these levels played. <p></p><i></i>
