Lakeville North Varsity
Heard Lakeville North has gotten some move-ins to bolster the line up. Does this mean North is a lock to not only win the section but also win there ever first round state tourney game(never has won a first round game). Can any one compete with North in the section?
Lakeville North
Sounds like recruiting to me. Any body check on this?
Lakeville North
Nobody will cometo Lakeville when they hear how this team is run. People will start speaking up.
The coach has some hard decisions to make.SimplyPut wrote:someone doesn't sound happy.
How many freshman do I take?
Do I go young at goalie or take the duo I had last year?
How many seniors can I cut without causing a complete meltdown of parents?
or
Do I take all returners from last year and fill in the remaining spots with upperclassmen and make a run for State?

Buttend I think you were more accurate the first time. Do I take three kids from the family who supported me getting the job?

How do you know how a junior team is run? When you say "we", you really meant to say "I".Raider Nation Guy wrote:Eigner is a complete putz. He thinks he is running a junior team. I don't get that "the running it like a Junior team"' is bad. Kevin Hartzell, Mike Guenzel, Dennis Polonich were some of my junior coaches. IF, he runs it like they did, he will get wins, not friends. Just saying....Raider Nation Guy wrote:Eigner is a complete putz. He thinks he is running a junior team. I watched a couple games last year. Would anyone care to tell me what systems they are running?

3-4-3 with an attacking wing on one side, defensive on the other. They live off of set pieces and counters, looking to find their opponents flat footed on the pitch.shiney12 wrote:I watched a couple games last year. Would anyone care to tell me what systems they are running?

And/or...do I take the freshman player who cannot tryout do to an injury. Oh ya, the players dad is now the new assistant coach. It is a small world!shiney12 wrote:Buttend I think you were more accurate the first time. Do I take three kids from the family who supported me getting the job?
