1-0 after one game. Beat Detroit 4-1. They play Jr. Canucks next.

How are the championship rounds set up? Is 4-2 good enough to get in?

My understanding is they take the top 6 (from what I can tell, 3 from each Division).

So, if they beat Chicago today at Noon, they will be in good shape to advance. Just as last year's team did.

That being said, as the #3 seed they will likely be playing a very strong #2 team to advance to the final four.

Based on comparative scores, the other Division seems to be way stronger. Team California beat Alberta yesterday. Team Alberta hung an 8-1 on our boys two weeks ago at the Brick.

My guess is they will go 4-2 and get beat by a superior team from the other Division in the first round. Not a bad showing. Anything less would probably be disappointing to this team, Anything more (>Final 6) would be big news.

Team MN handily beat Chicago 4-1 today to advance to the final 6. Similar to last year's team who also made the playoffs, this year's team can improve their seed from 3 to 2 by beating Toronto tmrw then winning their final pool play game against Team Pennsylvania. Good luck boys.

Not yet.... they need to win on Friday vs Pennsylvania. Detroit has two games left. TM should win it on paper, but not clinched yet.

Agreed! Great showing. Top 3-4.

People were awfully critical in the past when the team didn't do well. Last year Top 5-6, this year Top 3-4.

We followed the 03 Blades/Team Minnesota all week. Here is a recap of their 7 games. Including some great photos taken by the people in Edmonton.
