IRONIC , Mn Hockey says for years that they know best for the kids, but the first inkling of someone else will serious challeng their thoughts and has the means to implement them ,then they turn and run away from their beliefs,,
So what else should we believe from this so called board of experts,, How much Kool Aid do they expect us to drink now before they change their mind again.. or just maybe ,,, maybe,,, they will leave it the hands of the local associations to determine whats best for their families. You just might find that someone else has a better way to develop kids.

USA Hockey leadership has also backed up a bit on this, so Minnesota Hockey may just be following their direction. I spoke to a Colo Spgs guy about how laughably low the ADM recommendations are and he told me it isn't "games" but "game days". Well, that just doubled for us because we only play double-headers. After you drive 2-4 hours for league, it hardly make sense to play one.
Ernie Banks is proud.

Just read that they will now ALLOW kids from B-1(I know of three upper end AAA teams that have B-1 association kids leading their teams in scoring) youth associations to try out for the High Performance Programs!!!!! "For the first time in my adult life...". 'I'm starting to feel proud that" my kids play in MNH. No, I didn't try to steal this line from michelle obama.

We are now starting to move forward.

Appears as they already do. District 11 has Moose Lake Bantam B1 player on the HP15 roster. http://www.ushsho.com/forums/viewtopic. ... sc&start=0MrBoDangles wrote:They might actually be listening to some of us on here.... Good to see that everyone is now able to see how moronic this rule WAS..
Plenty of small associations lost (to bigger associations) their best talent because of this rule. You would of thought MNH was against growing Hockey outside of the mega associations.
Now a very talented 5'4" 135lb 8th/9th grader doesn't have to go get pummeled playing varsity to TRY to get noticed.
