The Caribou tour of metro Cup

I have emailed the Caribou folks and get no response, so I will take my question to the experts!! Why do they not keep the same age groups at the same rinks. This tourney is a logistical nightmare with coaching, parenting, and especially grandparenting. Game here, game there, it is tour of the metro. If you want to watch your next opponent, better gas up. What are your thoughts?

If you live near the rink your child is playing at that works out well.

For the rest of us, the different rinks provide an opportunity to have at least some of the games closer to home.

The rinks this year aren't as spread out as in prior years. Looks like Vadnais was dropped and a few others.

Maple Grove, St Louis Park, Mn Made, Fogerty, Brooklyn Park, Breck, Minnetonka and Orono.

Finally got a response... "Said a lot of requests for rinks matched with ages. We will do our best to make that change."

Just received another in depth response. It would appear that Caribou does examine ages and rinks. But as usual, I do not see the whole picture and should just appreciate there are smarter people in the world than me and just go have a soda and watch the games!! Bottom line for those wondering they weigh coaches who work many teams higher than age groups. Other factors as well...[/i]
