50 Best Peewees

Post by snowpuck »

http://youthhockeyhub.com/2012-2013-top ... aaa-day-4/

I noticed TS did not post a link to these 4 days of Articles which are a complete joke by F61. How could you not have one kid from the following teams?
MG
EP
Tonka
CC
It actually made me laugh. We all know he has it out for d6 teams, that has been evident all year.
I guess I am confused, I thought being a good reporter whether it be news or print you had to state the facts and be unbiased to a point?? I would love to see TS list... I think it would be different. Oh also, I really do not think their needs to be 50!!! No disrespect to YHH, but really made me think less of the site after reading that mess. Just do not even do it if you cannot do it with merit!!!!
Thoughts?

Top 50 pee wees

Post by redtundra »

I actually commend Fred for doing the list. I agree it is far (very far) from being the top 50 kids. He actually missed some of the top 5-10 kids in the state. Having said that, I know of no one who would go to the # of games he must go to, see all these kids from all over, and give some kids a shout-out who would never, ever get noticed otherwise. Keep it up, Fred.

I agree maybe Freddy's Fabulous Fifty may be more apt than the Top 50 kids in the state.

Lots of good players listed. Is it a true top 50 list? No, but it's a fun read on the players included. It's one person's opinion, and really just for entertainment for the rest of us.

Stay classy bored. The high performing kids will be named and discussed and debated at length as they get older.

I do agree with others past and present that YHH does itself a disservice by not using a more appropriate title. Change that and a lot of the complaints would go away.

Sort of pains me to say it, but I though the Player of the Year Post this afternoon by Fred / YHH was very well written and very classy. Based on what I heard from some of the Edina parents, this was a good collection of young men who were well coached and played the game the right way. Evidence of that fact was that they kept their HEP point for every game. Nice work, YHH.

Goal Judge, you are absolutely right... even though I did not agree with the articles... some skaters/goalies I did, Frederick redeemed himself with his latest article on the top player. They deserved to win and they did a tremendous job and they are a class act and yes they did it for their teammates brother and they worked for that all year.. Class Act all around.. I am thrilled with the choice Fred. You done good
