It's just plain stupid we use a system where not all officials have the ability to call the game.

When I reffed I liked the 2 man system, I hated the 2-1 high school uses.

If all 3 can call penalties, goals, and infractions it would be a better system with better coverage. Football and basketball both use a system that triangulates coverage, hockey is a fluid game that uses a linear officiating system - because it's always been done that way.
