Who are the worst seeds in Regional playoff - PWAA and BAA

Post by Mnhockeys »

Quote from mnh with the error correction,

"We realize this is an inconvenience, but with a week remaining before region tournaments start, we feel there is still sufficient time to inform all participants and volunteers so they can make adjustments. And most importantly, we want to make this fair for the kids, and rightfully reward teams that earned the top seed after their hard work in District playoffs."

To make it fair for the kids, do you think you remotely achieve that?

You should change the above statement as something like ".... considering the circumstance and s... job we did, this is the best we can do. For those teams we effectively eliminate their chance before the regional games start, we apologize!"

why are you so angry? :x did your little billy's team get "screwed" in your mind? This is a first year program. Can it be better? yes..and changes will be made to make it better. When major changes are made, it's never perfect immediately. Give it time. Even the mighty coca-cola makes mistakes. I say cut them some slack. There is always a couple guys who think they are always the smartest guy in the room, they have all the answers. I'd say "get involved and be part of the solution, not part of the problem", but with your holier than thou attitude, who'd want ya.

Seems to me, we are getting plenty of inside scoop about people trying to do something about it from within. ie d10 and d6 trying to correct a messed up situation that led to blatant throwing of games. Only to be told this is the way it is, deal with it. If the District reps and DD's aren't doing enough maybe they should run for higher office eh?

Be a solution to all the problems we didn't have to go through? I agree, we should run the people that were for this out of the state.

Play B-1 if you don't think you can hang and bang at A. We had FOUR levels of play, we don't need five. It has made the playoff system a joke by cutting the available A teams. 4-5 teams going into districts and 3 go on to regions? Auto bids? Lame! There's no fix for this. These problems were all foretold before the season

I have a cure for all you libs!! Go back to the old format and just change the title B-1 to "A". D6 has already done this!!!!!

I was simply asking that question! My lil' Johnny's team is doing fine, better than our expectation at least. "Cut them some slack ...?", but why do we have teams fighting for a 4th place finish, and a 3rd placed team would have an easier opponent than the top finished teams in regionals?

Just cannot sit here and combine the above facts with "be fair to the kids ... reward the hard work ..." together.
