East has beaten Minnetonka twice this season. I would think that East would be seeded before Minnetonka.. HopefullyWarmUpTheBus wrote:1AA: Lakeville North

Couple things on your predictions...Redlight wrote:AA
1aa Lakeville South
2aa Edina
3aa Prior Lake
4aa HM
5aa Blaine
6aa BSM
7aa GR
8aa Moorhead
BSM in a blowout over GR in a rematch of Hockey Day MN!
A
1a Who cares
2a Breck
3a some team thats going to be pounded in both games
4a STA
5a doesn't matter
6a Hermantown will make it as usual only to get beat by the private school all-stars once again
7a some team that only has a chance if they play the 3a team all three games
8a Some team that will have a long drive home without more than one win.
99.9% chance that either STA or Breck wins....because that's what always happens! I'll go with STA winning by 3 or more goals in every game they play. Good riddance and good luck to you uniform wearing/shinny shoed, matching chickless Cadets. If Breck had any b#lls or dignity they would bring their poorly coached, lexus/mercedes/range rover driving traveling all-star team to AA as well!
Both Edina and Prior Lake are in 2AA
Hermantown is in 5A not 6A
I doubt the 8A winner will go 2 and out if they have to play any of the 1A, 3A, or 6A winners
However, it would be nice to see Breck follow suit along with STA! Only thing is if they leave then we have to watch Totino hammer away at this less than stellar section year after year until they make the jump as well.
"seeded" does not necessarily equal, "seeding" meaning "in no particular order".kpryan88 wrote:You may need to revisit your title game prediction. Based on your seeding, BSM will play Eagan in the quarterfinals.mnpuckster wrote:1AA-Lakeville North

My bad, I looked at those 5 teams and thought that was the seeding order. It is a logical order for the seeds, in my opinion.Slap Shot wrote:"seeded" does not necessarily equal, "seeding" meaning "in no particular order".kpryan88 wrote:You may need to revisit your title game prediction. I agree in general, just giving him an out.kpryan88 wrote:My bad, I looked at those 5 teams and thought that was the seeding order. I can't find the thread, but there was one in which the OP lamented the lack of 20 win teams this year. Assuming the concept was AA only, HM, DE and Eagan already qualify and without looking at updated records if htey haven't already GR, Tonka, BSM, and Blaine could all reach the plateau before sections. Much ado...
Also edina could reach it. 19-5 right now with one game left against EPSlap Shot wrote:I can't find the thread, but there was one in which the OP lamented the lack of 20 win teams this year. Blaine won't get there (after losing to Maple Grove) and neither will Tonka (best they can do is 19) and the best Grand Rapids can do is 18 wins.Slap Shot wrote:I can't find the thread, but there was one in which the OP lamented the lack of 20 win teams this year. Edina could reach 20 with a win over EP, which would make them the fifth and final 20-win team in LPH's Top 20 through the regular season.
HM 21-2-1 (play Moorhead today)
Eagan 20-3-1 (play AV today)
Tartan 20-3-1 (play DE today)
DE 20-4 (play Tartan today)
Edina 19-5 (play EP today)
Some teams will reach the 20-win plateau during section playoffs, so it's still likely we will have more than 4 twenty win teams at the Excel.
