Found about this today via our coach:

Hockey players making sandwiches for homeless shelters, up to 100 teams in January. All three of my kids teams are doing.

We really like what this event is doing. They have 20 or 30 teams signed up so far (shooting for 100). There is plenty of room for teams to sign up and help out.

wanted to give this event a bump...talked to the organizer, they need teams to make sandwiches.
