Kinda weird that Besse, Lucia, and Opperman are out this fall with injuries.
What's wrong with Opps?

There in lies the problem, kids should not be making the decision - parents(that is sensible parents) should be making the decision. Fine to have the kid included in discussion.

Oh, geez...it's a "genie in the lamp" kind of question.

That said, it is hard for me to agree that the parents should have final say if what they are saying is that their son is going to pack up, leave home, and play juniors his senior year, whether he wants to or not. I've watched that kind of "Papa Woods," stage-mommy, live-though-your-kid behavior play out over the years with one local family, and it is really, really, sad.

opperman had knee surgery is out four months, but it happened in July. He should be ready to go at the end of October.
