Heartbreaking finish. Oh well, they can still advance out of the pool with some good results in the last two games.
Yes, there are some very good players on that team. I think #11 is the very fast skater. That one defensive pairing is real fun to watch. They play real tight to the play with one being more traditional and the other counter attacking every chance like Brian Leetch. It seemed in the third game like their coach figured it out and told his kids to dump the puck out of the zone in hopes of catching a breaking forward....it worked for a late goal and they had another late scoring chance.
Very good hockey for sure. Any weak kids would get exposed real fast at this level.
Go get 'em! They've surely proved the doubters on this board wrong!

They did play chicago and Detroit tough tho..

Sask took 2nd in the subway. Not sure where you heard they were a bottom 4 team. It seems hard for you to really give any credit to this team or the blades. Positivity would be nice!

Great win for the kids. They compete so hard! 3-1-1 now, with very few goals given up in the five games.
A win over Toronto and they are through. They probably still advance with a tie. I'm afraid they won't if they come up short tomorrow, but a very impressive showing however it ends up!
Great job! They were FLYING out there today.

MN has 7 pts in 5 gms, will play Toronto
Det has 6 in 4, will play SK (win?) & Chicago
Tor has 5 in 4, will play Atl (win?) & Minnesota
Chi has 4 in 4, will play Boston & Detroit
Bos has 4 in 4, will play Chicago & SK
SK has 2 in 3, will face Detroit, Boston & Atlantic
Atl has no pts in 4 games, will play Toronto & SK
Figure the bottom two teams are out.
Boston v. Chicago is a big game in that the winner will have 6 points and the loser is eliminated. Either team could reach the semis with two wins.
I think it is a race to 8 points. It is possible that a Minnesota-Toronto tie brings it to tiebreakers.
Detroit is looking very good, but I'm sure they could win a game and lose to Chicago and then fall to the mercy of tiebreakers.
Minnesota in for sure with a win over Toronto and probably needs some help if they tie. I'm pretty sure they can't advance with a loss.

Expressing an opinion and doubting are two different things. Do you have any issue if some one wants 100% Minnesota kids on a team called Team Minnesota? It makes perfect sense to me. If you can't find 3 Minnesota kids that are equal or better talent to play on this team then some thing is extremely wrong.O-townClown wrote:Heartbreaking finish. No one ever answered my questions. I would appreciate it if some would.
1) Who's coaching Team Minnesota?
2) What program is this coach from?
3) Are there any Machine kids playing on Team Minnesota?
4) Any Northern kids on Team Minnesota?

You're kind of missing the whole "go team Minnesota" vibe we've got going on here.Irish wrote:Expressing an opinion and doubting are two different things. If you really don't know the answers to your questions then go back and read the hundreds of posts on the subject that were made in the last month.....you have yourself over 200 posts so I suspect your just making waves.
