I like both 8 and 10 for WBL saw about 10 games including the game against Edina in playoffs. To me 10 is the better all round TWO way player does everything digs in the corners, passes first, great vision, speed, hands and can score. 8 is has the hands and quickness but a little soft at times which will get better as he grows.
Both could've made it. Thought 10 should've made it.
Also feel at least 5 others from other teams could've made it. Yes, there are politics involved. Sucks sometimes but makes you stronger. Trust me.
Not a parent. just a fan.

I'm sure many players/parents are but all should know that so much goes into the selection process. Placement from all sections, Not too many from one team, yes politics. Most don't know that every year the selections MUST have a certain percentage of new players.
If you're a WBL fan Goaliedad you have a lot to look forward to as I thought wbl a bantams had many very good players 9, 15 and I did like the goalie a lot.
That beings said that Edina team I saw was VERY good. 6 or 7 studs deep. I recall numbers 7, 5,2, 23 standing out. I can see them deserving the 5 players that got selected. A lot of well known names. I can't believe I'm going to say this but will also give the edge to the fans of Edina(well behaved) Not a fan of noisemakers.
Let me add that any player not selected will benefit from this. Especially at this age group because they will work even harder to be ready next year when in my opinion it will mean more.
Congrats to all who did make the list..
